Mamanista Friday: Maxi Dress

I loves me some maxi dresses.  For one, they are very comfortable, and two, they can be dressed up or down.  I wear maxi dress almost daily to work during every season but winter!!  These dresses are and should be a staple item in all CurvieBirdie's wardrobes!!!!!

OOTD: Cas-U-AL Cal

I hope everyone enjoyed that beautiful extended 4th weekend.  Mom Dukes and granny came down, so I had to dress casual to be able to keep up with these ladies!  So my OOTD is all cotton, and I added the jean jacket just to keep arms warm while out in the cold stores shopping.

Weekend Style: OOTD Maxi Skirt

I hope everyone had a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend!  And thank you to all the troops for your work and dedication to this country!

This weekend, I spent time with family in Indianapolis for the weekend.  Mister, Morgan and I had a chance to hang out with my mother, grandmother, aunts, and cousins.  Indy is not as warm as ATL, so I decided to rock out my maxi skirts.

Mamanista Friday: Dressing up Gym Shoes

This week's challenge is styling gyms shoes.  This was really a challenge for me.  I am not sure about you ladies, but I really hardly ever wear gyms.  I own 2 pairs, and they barely ever see the light of day!  But this is my simple gym shoe look, which will go well with Mommy and me shopping day that Morgan and I are having today!!!

Top: Old Navy, Jeans: Lane Bryant, Converse: Target, Accessories: Verona

Something to Chirp About: Must Have Plus Size Pieces

It seems that most days when I got to work, my coworkers will say that I always look so cute and professional. When I go out, my friend tell me that I am always dressed to kill. Also, sometimes when I am out alone, strangers will try me how pretty i look and that I dress well.

One of the reasons why I decided to start this blog was for the fact that every woman no matter size should be able to look beautiful and wear items that compliments their flyness. So here are a few items that I feel are essential for a curviebirdie's wardrobe.

Torrid Plus Skinny Jeans

These items can be mixed and matched all together.  No matter how you wear them, you will always have a clean and crisp look!!!

So do you have these items in your wardrobe?  How do you mix and match?  Do you dress it up or down?

OOTD: Twelve24 Denim and Jessica Simpson Clothing Line

One of my favorite stores to shop at in Atlanta is Twelve24 in Decatur.  It is about an hr from my house, so I don't get to go there as often as I like.  However, they do post pictures of some of their new items on facebook.  I saw these jeans and inboxed them right away to invoice and send me those jeans!!!!

While at home on maternity leave, I did a lot of shopping online.  I rediscovered Asos and got some really cute pieces.
