Last weeks Mamanista Friday look was Vests.  I was already to go, but forgot my camera for pics.  I got it at lunch, but I was not blog fine anymore due to having eaten lunch first.  My mistake!!  However, we do have this fly lady ready to go with her vest challenge!

Mamanista Friday: Jean Shorts . . .or Polka Dots

Mamanista Friday challenge was for jean shorts.  I have a plent of jean shorts.  I purchased a bunch from Macy's right before I realized I was preggers.  So I haven't been able to wear them yet.  Well, i moved and cannot find not one pair of shorts!  I have searched and searched but all I could find was this polka dot rumper.  So here is my only shorts outfit I could find!

Mamanista Fridays: Graphic Tee

i am so not the Tshirt chic.  I only own a few, and I just throw them on around the house.  This weeks challenge is Graphic Tees.  So I'm digging though all my top trying to find a tee that would go well with this challenge.  Well I come across my Tshirt from Halloween 3 years ago when I was part of the group Run DMC.  That shirt is kinda hot, so I decided to try it out for this challenge.

Nordstrom’s NARS Make-up Party!

This past Saturday, I went to the NARS makeup event hosted by the Style and Beauty Doctor, Fashionista Next Door, the Babyshopaholic, Lexi with the Curls, and Glamazons.  I didn't make an appointment, so I wasnt able to just slide in, but here are a few ladies that did get their make-up "DID" !!

3rd Annual Derby Brunch and Hatwalk Review

This weekend I went to the 3rd Annual Derby Brunch and Hatwalk.  It was a morning of fabulous fashions, hats, and lovely ladies!  It was so refreshing being around positive women in a setting like that.  This event was presented by T.R.I.P.S. which is a non-profit that helps benefit urban communities across the nation.

Something to Chirp About: Trisha Yearwood Weight Loss!

Happy Friday Curviebirdies!!!!!  I know that it is not the best time in our country, so my prayers go out to all those in Boston and victims of the tragic events from Monday.

Well, I wanted to talk about one of my favorite CurvieBirdies Ms. Trisha Yearwood.  This chick has lost over 30lbs and looks amazing.  She says that she is not skinny, but she is happy!  Well so are we Trisha!

Doesn't she look great?  I've always thought that Trisha was pretty, and I think she is goregous at any weight.  So congrads again Ms. Lady!!!!
