It’s Birthing Day!!

Hello Curviebirdies!  I am getting ready to have my baby!  I will be going into hospital tonight to prepare for delivering her on Thursday.  So keep us in your prayers because she is coming 3 weeks early.  I will not be posting for a week or so in order to get used to motherhood.  I do welcome all tips from you ladies and gents!

Our favorite CurvieBirdie Melissa McCarthy has done it again!!  She is on the cover of fashion magazine ELLE !!!  She has done so much to breakdown the size-ism stereotypes of Hollywood. I so love this chick!!

OMG!!  Doesn’t she look so amazing.  Just super gorge!  And it looks like she has dropped some lbs in this picture as well.  Here is an insert from the magazine below.

Happy Monday all.  I hope everyone had a fab weekend.  Well, today I wanted to give you all a heads up on a CurvieBirdie favorite.  Nordstrom Rack is opening a new store at Perimeter!!!  Yep!  They are having a great grand opening party on Oct. 10 for all those who can attend.  There will be free gifts, prizes, breakfast, and giftcard giveaways!!!  The event kicks out at 8am with music and breatfast items.  So if you are able, please attend because Nordstroms knows how to party!!!

CurvieBirdie Watch: Adele

Happy Hump day Ladies and Gents.  One of our favorite CurvieBirdies is doing big things (again!).  Adele has her own comic book!!  It is based on her life and rise to stardom.  A very interesting concept considering I have never seen a plus size gal on the cover of a comic book.  This chick is amazing!!!

Not only does this fab CurvieBirdie have her own comic book, but she is also in talks to star in a movie about the life of Dusty Springfield who was an iconic singer for Atlantic Records.

 

So be on the look out for all the amazing projects this beautiful lady has instore for us!!!

CurvieBirdie Watch: Queen Latifah

Happy Friday ladies and gents!!  So you know, this CurvieBirdie will be on bed rest fof a while.  I am sorry I been MIA this week, but I’ve been out due to pre term labor pains. 

Anyway, this week Queen Latifah’s show started.  I have watched this lady throughout her career and super love her!!!  She has had many A-list star on her show including Jaime Fox, John Travola, and the sexy Jake Gyllenhaal!!  I am sure there is so much more to come!

Pregnancy Blues

Happy Monday ladies and gents!  Man I have been super tired.  All in all, I have had a really great pregnancy, other than this carpal tunnel.  My issue is that I am extremely tired!  I only want to lay down and do nothing all day long.  I have no motivation which is sad because I still have 2 months to go!!  I need some help and advise ladies on what I can do to get more energy.  I know I can't have caffeine, so I need other suggestions.

I am so moody and everything gets on my nerves.  I get super hot too.  Can't fit my clothes, and have no motivation to even try to put on some make-up.  So any suggestions on how to get me motivated to be more active in month 7?

CurvieBirdie Watch: Kelly Osbourne

Hello ladies and gents.  Kelly Osbourne has become a very respected fashion icon recently.  She is the daughter of Rocker Ozzy Osbourne and the fabulous talk show host Sharon Osbourne.  Kelly has struggled with weight most of her life and has recently slimmed down 70lbs!

After she slimmed down, she was finally able to dress the way she wanted.  However, she states that the fits were not the best for her curves.  At that point she realized that it was time for her to create her own fashion line that includes many pieces in sizes for CurvieBirdies!!!  She said that her struggle is the struggle of all women, and she wants to do something about!

Go Kelly!!

 

 

 

She has not shown any pieces of her line yet, but I bet it will have a trendy punk-rock twist to it.  I truly can't wait to see shat she does!!
