I haven't done any sales post in quite a while.  I was preggers all last summer, so I wasnt able to update my summer wardrobe.  Now, everything I have is 2 seasons old.  That doesn't bother me too much, but I need some new fresh pieces in my closet that I can just throw on and go.  Comfort is really important to me now since I have a little CurvieBirdie that goes where I go!

This weeks  challenge is maxi dresses.  This trend is amazing because all women can wear maxies and look totally superb in it!  So every lady needs to have at least 1 or 2 of these in their wardrobes!!!

This is my fav maxie dress of all times.  I got this in 2008, and it still looks amazing!!  I always get many compliments whenever I wear, and I wear it a lot these days!!  If you hadn’t heard the news yet, I am 5 months pregnant with my first child.  I have been hiding it well, but I decided to show ya’ll my baby bump!

CurvieBirdie is Preggers and IT’S A GIRL!!!!

Happy Monday ladys and gents.  It is time for me to let the cat out the bag.  I am 5 months pregnant with my first child!!!  Yes, it's true, and I am still in shock.  But I am happy to be having a little Birdie with my now Fiance John.  So thanks in advance for all you well wishes!!

This weekend, I went to Old Navy to get the $8 dresses, but I got there too late to get the xxl sizes cuz that's all this belly will fit in.  Next door to Old Navy, there is a Carters and they are having a huge sale!  Take a look at all the items I purchased:

 

 

I got 16 pieces for $50!!!  Yep, all that stuff was just $50.  Even my baby is going to be a baby fashionista!!!  Thank you John for buying your future daughter some of her first outfits! 

 

So what do ya'll think of these purchases?  I know I did good.  Do other baby stores have sales like these?  For all you mothers out there, any advise for a first time mom?

 

 



Weekend Finds

Happy Monday all.  It was super gorge in ATL this weekend, so I got up and out in it!  This weekend was the weekend of super sales I think because I got so much stuff on the low!!!!

Khols was my first stop.  There, I got 3 pair of pants for $7.20 each!!!  Yep, I did that!!  So my total was $23.26 all together!!

 

Then I went to Macys.  Ya’ll know by now that I loves me some Macys right?  Well, they never let me down when it comes to cute clothes on a great sale.  Floral Jeans are where it is at this spring, and I got 2 pair for a total of $30 for both pair!!  Bam!!!!

 

Lastly, I went to a place I haven’t been to since I left undergrad in Carbondale, IL.  I went to Dillards and I cannot believe what I saw.  There were some super savings going on.  I got 3 pair of skinny jeans!!  The orange ones were $17.46, and the other 2 pair were $11.20 each!!  Boom!!

Day after Christmas Sales!!!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas yesterday.  This CurvieBirdie was super sick with the flu, so I stayed barricaded in my granny’s spare room most of the day.  I was not even allowed in the kitchen, and I eat my dinner by myself.  When I was finished, I got up and my spot was wiped down so everyone else could eat.  Brutal I know, but I didn’t want anyone else to get sick either.

Well after drugging myself all day, I am feeling better.  Now it’s time to do what curviebirdies do best . . . . . . .SHOP THE SALES!!!!!

These are my after Christmas sale picks!

Ya’ll know that “If it weren’t for Old Navy, I’d be naked!”  I already started my shopping online on Christmas.  There are some great deals in the Plus Sized line.  I got multiple tops and dresses for $10 and pants/jeans for $15.  So I suggest that ya’ll CurvieBirdies check it out too!!! Plus shipping is free for orders over $50!! 

S/N:  Don’t forget to check the maternity side because there are always deals.  I shop it, and get better sales sometimes!!!!

 

This is what I used everyday.  I try to buy enough at the semi annual sale to last for at 6 month til the next sale.  The sale includes many of the classic Bath and Body scents.  You can’t go wrong with $3 bath wash, lotions, and scents!!!!!  I will probably hit up a few of these stores!!  This is truly the one sale I wait for every 6 months!!!

 

And of course Target.  Since I don’t have any children, I never put up a Christmas tree, but I think I will start.  So I will be looking to buy a Christmas tree and ornaments tomorrow to get ready for next year!!!  The best time to buy this stuff is always the day after Christmas when its 50% off!!!

Happy Thanksgiving/Black Friday

Happy Thanksgivings ladies and it gents.  I hope everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving and got good and full.  Ya’ll know I did.  That’s why I am sitting on the couch blogging right now.  I am trying to plan my attack on Black Friday, and I thought I would share some tips with ya’ll.

First, make sure that ya’ll look through all the sales papers first.  You want to find out what stores have what on sale.

Next, write out a list of everything that you want at each store to see which stores need to be hit up first.

Third, get a team together.  Ya’ll need someone to stand by the line in front so that they can hold a place.  Lines can be super long once the sales hit.  Also, you need another person to help run around the store to get all the items that you are planning to buy.  So my suggestion is that you go in teams of at least 3 or more.

Also, dress comfortably.  You may need to sprint to a certain section of the store, so be sure that you got on running shoes and loose fitting clothing.

Lastly, after all that hard work you just did to get all those great holiday gifts, go home and relax.

Happy Monday!!  I had an incredible weekend!  During my shopping time, I decided to go to the thrift store to see if I could find any cute knick-knacks for the house.  I didn’t find anything for the house, but I did find something even better!

Happy Monday!!!  I was not feeling very well this weekend, so I did not do too much.  But Saturday was so pretty in ATL, I had to force myself out of the house to pick up a few things.  I am pretty sure ya’ll know me by now; I got what I needed and a few items I wanted!! 

I went to Target for food and household items when the sales signs started calling me, “CurvieBirdie, come look at me!!”  So I did, and here are my finds!!!

These ankle cowboy boots are too cute!!  I feel in love immediately, well almost immediately!  They are going to be a “go to shoe” in my winter wardrobe!!!

These are my weekend shopping pleasures.  Its always fun to integrate grocery shopping with great finds like these!!!

So what do you think about the cowboy boots from Target?  I was kinda skeptical at first because I have only purchased sandals from there.  Never a fall shoe.  Have you?  How did you like them?
