Something to Chirp About: Spanx Jeans!!!

Ya'll know I am an avid Spanx spokesperson. So the other day, I heard that Spanx were going to be coming out with jeans!  I had to thank God and do a little Cogic shout at that news honey!  Where have there jeans been all my life?  Its like Sara Blakey knows what all CurvieBirdies need.  I'm going to call her the CurvieBirdie Whisper-er!!!!

There will be two styles, multiple cuts and three washes and are priced at $148. They promise “thigh-trimming construction” and stretch technology meant to smooth the tummy. 

I am so excited!!  The jeans launch on the Spanx website last week and will be available in department stores Aug. 25!!!

Ladies if you are like me, you like to keep your "extra" hidden in a secret compartment.  Well, I normally hide mine in my Spanx. However, I have found that you need different types of shapewear for different situations.  While researching this topic, I found a great article on MSN that breaks shapewear down.

Form Fitting full slips are great under form fitting dresses.  It also will work with low cut dresses.

Something to Chirp About: Wedge Sneakers

Happy Monday CurvieBirdies.  Weekend is over now back to the grind.  I few months ago, I share with you that I had a fetish/obsession with accessories.  Well, I am beginning to get that same feeling with shoes.  I know; it’s sad!!

I have been seeing a trend with these wedge sneakers (gym shoes for my mid-westers).  So I decided to that I may actually try this trend.  I have heard so many great things about these gym shoes.  So check out my picks below:

Kmart: Love Your Style Look

A few months ago, I did a post on the super trendy fashions I purchased from Kmart online.  The plus size fashion line is called LYS which stands for Love Your Style.  And I must say that I am truly loving this Kmart Line!!  It is not what I expected.  The fashions are trendy, cute, and a much higher quality than I expected from Kmart.  So if you are looking for fabulous fashions for a smaller budget, Kmart LYS line is definitely for you!!!  Here is how I style the cute skirt I purchased . . .

 

 

 

I am wearing a black blazer from Torrid.  The cami is from Lane Bryant.  The gorgeous skirt is from Kmart’s LYS line.  Shoes are Jessica Simpson, and the necklace is from Avenue.  And lets not forget the star of this outfit SPANX!!!  These are the SPANX tights.
