The weekend is over, but it was s super good one!  Not only did the Seahawks and their 12 year old quarterback win the Super Bowl(jk), but Plus Positivity had a blogger style competition at Ashley Stewards in Cumberland mall. 

If you haven't looked at their site yet, please do so!  This is a very positive and supportive organization focusing on the Plus Size community. 

 

Here are the bloggers standing with the beautiful and talented Nikki Gilbert.  At the event, the bloggers were given multiple style challenges to dress models. At each round one or more bloggers were eliminated until there was just one standing.

Hello CurvieBirdies.  So I just had to tell ya’ll the word on the streets.  So I heard that Ms. Amber Riley may be coming out with a new clothing line!!  I would be super excited if she did.  Would love to see what designs her label would come up with.

Kelly Price: Too Fat for Fame Casting Call

Hey CurvieBirdies.  Ya’ll know I love everything curvie and fabulous, so here is something I just came across.  We all know and love Kelly Price.  Well she is holding a casting for a new unscripted reality show showcasing talents of CurvieBirdies!!  She knows from experience how hard it can be to break into the business when you are not the ideal size. 

 

Remember Kelly Price was with Bad Boys before she got with R. Kelly to produce her solo album.  She said that Diddy thought she was too big, so she song on the background of many of Bad Boys greatest hits.  So now she is giving others the chance to show the world that talent can come and all sizes.

Happy Monday CurvieBirdies!!  I am so exicted to announce to those that already don't know that Queen Latifah is coming to daytime with her own talk show!!!  I so heart this CurvieBirdie.  She is so talented!  She can sing, rap, act, and she's super funny.  I am so exicted for her and I love the fact that CBS is going to share her grace and curvie beauty with all of us!!!

Something to Chirp About: Trisha Yearwood Weight Loss!

Happy Friday Curviebirdies!!!!!  I know that it is not the best time in our country, so my prayers go out to all those in Boston and victims of the tragic events from Monday.

Well, I wanted to talk about one of my favorite CurvieBirdies Ms. Trisha Yearwood.  This chick has lost over 30lbs and looks amazing.  She says that she is not skinny, but she is happy!  Well so are we Trisha!

Doesn't she look great?  I've always thought that Trisha was pretty, and I think she is goregous at any weight.  So congrads again Ms. Lady!!!!

Happy Monday!!  I hope ya'll had a productive weekend.  Well yesterday was the SAG Awards.  I watched the red capret to see which CurvieBirdie was going to set it off, and it was Miss Amber Riley!!!  This diva did the dog on thang honey!!

Well here is your opportunity to shine in our very first Fashion Show. We are looking to cast 7 women and 5 five guys for our Show production which will include some acting.
There is no size or height requirement but we ask that you be curvy

1. Must come in all black or white tank and jeans (heel are a must)
2. Male models are asked to dress comfortable and must be able to move around comfortably.
3. Must be comfortable in sexy scenes as well as learning scripted lines for production scenes.
There is no experience necessary but must be professional at all times.

Hello CurvieBirdies.  I blogged about the fashion show on Monday.  Well this is part 2 of the event.  The Curvie fashion show was hosted by socialite OhNikka.  This show was of course my fav!!  The curvie models were absolutely gorgeous.  I have experience in this industry, so I can tell you that OhNikka did an excellent job with her model selection.  See for yourself !!!

Happy Friday CurvieBirdies!!!  It is going to be a beautiful weekend according to the news, so I hope everyone gets out and enjoy the days.  Also, the temperatures in ATL are supposed to get back up to the 70’s.  I surely hope that is true!!!!!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Youtheary Trunk Show.  The talented designer is as beautiful as the clothing.  

She designs clothes for the curvie women in mind.  The colors and fit makes it easy to fall in love with her collection. The pieces are very flowy and complimentary to a curvie figure.

 

And you know I was shopping honey!!!

Well Happy Friday everyone!!  We made it another week!!!!  I am not sure about you, but I have lots of social events coming up this weekend.  I hope to see you CurvieBirdies out at these events as well!!!
