Mamanista Friday: Plaid

I have been seeing that Plaid is the new fall trend.  I have always liked plaid, but don't really own any now.  So I guess ya'll know what's on my next shopping trip list!! 

This challenge was a bit harder for me, but I did find some plaid to rock today.  This plaid look is courtesy of my amazing supervisor Louis!

Peplum is a CurvieBirdie's best friend!  It covers that "extra" you want hidden, plus it gives more curves for those of us that have a more straight body type.  I will rock this style anyway and anytime!

Mamanista Fridays: Pastels

Springtime is here!  Well, at least in theory it is, but time for color!!!  Easter is fast approaching and we all know that this season is pastel season.  For today's challenge, the look is pastels.  I don't have a lot of pieces in these colors; I the colors in dresses.  It's springtime rainy in ATL, so pants it is!

Is it just me, or do you buy items and forget you have them?  Well, that seems to be something I do more often than I would want to admit. So while I was "digging in the crates" the other day, I found this super fantastic blazer that I just had to rock!

CurvieBirdie Has a New Look!!

Hello CurvieBirdies.  Since I had my baby, I decided to change up my look.  I went short hair so that my baby wouldn’t get that long hair in her eyes.  I also lost 30lbs.  I guess pregnancy agrees with me!!

 

I got this dress from Twelve24 $59 in Decatur, GA.  I wore this to my company holiday party.

Something to Chirp About: Wedge Sneakers

Happy Monday CurvieBirdies.  Weekend is over now back to the grind.  I few months ago, I share with you that I had a fetish/obsession with accessories.  Well, I am beginning to get that same feeling with shoes.  I know; it’s sad!!
