I had a coworker ask me the other day if brown and black can go together.  I was shocked by the question, but realized that those colors together sometimes can be Taboo.  So I decided to wear the colors together to show her that it can be done.

About 2 years ago I bought this super fabulous floral jacket from Macys.  A lot of my friends didn't see the potential in the jacket; they thought it was not cute!  I knew better.  I finally pulled it out of the closet and rock it.  I got so many compliments on the jacket! You decide:

OOTD: 50 Shades of Gray Back To Work Look

Hello CurvieBirdies!!  Well, I am at the end of my materity leave and have to go back to work on Thursday.  Boooooo!!!  Gots to leave my baby with daycare.  Anyway, I haven’t really got dressed in business cauals in a while, so I decided to put together some looks for my first day back.

This outfit was inspired by the star of The Babyshopaholic, Miss Peyton.  She told me to wear purple, so I paired the pink/purple scarf with my 50 shades of gray.  So is that a good first day look?  Do you wear multiple shades of the same color together?

Style Me Fridays: CurvieBirdie’s Point of View

This Fridays challenge was to style a white tee.  I thought that was a cute idea sense you can wear a white tee with anything causal or dressy and it still looks hot!  So check me out in my super trendy white tee!!

I love doing Style Me Fridays.  Many people think that curvie women can’t do the same things as other women can, but I show you that you can.  There is always cute fashions for curviebirdies.  We just have to go out, find them, then style it like only a curviebirdie can do!!!!
So I think my fav part of this look is my wedges!  Tell me what do you think?  Would you have paired that tee with skinny jeans?  What would you do different?

Weekend Finds

Happy Monday all.  It was super gorge in ATL this weekend, so I got up and out in it!  This weekend was the weekend of super sales I think because I got so much stuff on the low!!!!

Khols was my first stop.  There, I got 3 pair of pants for $7.20 each!!!  Yep, I did that!!  So my total was $23.26 all together!!

 

Then I went to Macys.  Ya’ll know by now that I loves me some Macys right?  Well, they never let me down when it comes to cute clothes on a great sale.  Floral Jeans are where it is at this spring, and I got 2 pair for a total of $30 for both pair!!  Bam!!!!

 

Lastly, I went to a place I haven’t been to since I left undergrad in Carbondale, IL.  I went to Dillards and I cannot believe what I saw.  There were some super savings going on.  I got 3 pair of skinny jeans!!  The orange ones were $17.46, and the other 2 pair were $11.20 each!!  Boom!!
