A Little Birdie Told Me: Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Needs to Get a Clue!!

Happy Hump day CurvieBirdies.  Last week I was quite disturbed by the statements of Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Michael Jeffries.  According to this Botox clown,  "In every school there are the cool and popular kids, and then there are the not-so-cool kids. Candidly, we go after the cool kids. We go after the attractive all-American kid with a great attitude and a lot of friends. A lot of people don't belong (in our clothes), and they can't belong. Are we exclusionary? Absolutely."

Dude, are you kidding me?  Not all cool kids are a size 10 and below.  If he thinks that way, I doubt that Abercrombie & Fitch will continue to be successful as a brand.  There have been tons of media outrage over these comments as well.  One movie producer decided to give homeless people some Abercrombie & Fitch clothing to wear, making the brand #1 in the homeless sector!!!

Also, a Washington, DC women actually packed up all her childrens Abercrombie & Fitch clothing and returned them all to the CEO's office saying that her cool, beautiful, thin children will never wear his brand again!!!  Go momma!!!

So what are your thoughts about these comments?  If you are a CurvieBirdie that can wear a size 10 or less, does this change your view on the brand?  Do you support the CEO's vision?
