Hello CurvieBirdies. I was cruising the web, and I found this article on Ivillage.com about curvie dressing tips.  And ya’ll know I had to share the info with my curvie readers!!  There are so really good ideas here.  Take a look!!

1.  Go Monochromatic

Octavia Spencer has this look on lock! She wears a series of monochromatic dresses. It’s a strategy that’s great for lengthening and slimming a curvy frame—without wearing black or navy says.  Also the sleeve end in just the right place to cover up fullness at the top of the arm but still shows skin.

 

2.  Try a Trench Coat

Oprah Winfrey proves that you don’t need to wear a gown to look amazing after dark!  The softly skirted bottom skims over her lower body.  So invest in a knockout evening coat made of brocade, satin or raw silk. Worn with slim pants and heels, it’s as formal as a cocktail dress but with more coverage!!

 

3.  Wrap It

If you have an hourglass figure like Jill Scott, chances are you have a few waist-defining, curve-skimming wrap dresses you wear to work.  But don’t think they’re just for day. This can be a fabulous choice for evening, too. I love how Jill’s look is shimmery, sexy and hits her in all the right places!

 

4.  Skim Your Silhouette

A Little Birdie Told Me: Jill Scott is Doing it Up!

Hello CurvieBirdie’s!!! I heard that this beautiful vixen was on the cover of Ebony Magazine, so I just had to see it for myself.  I have always loved Jill Scott!!  This CurvieBirdie is so amazing.  Not only is she beautiful, but she is super talented.

This issue focuses on her career as well as her being a celebrity mom to her handsome little son!!!

This multi-grammy winner Bombshell is AWESOME!!!  Love her!!!  She has broken all the rules in the size-obsessed music world.  No one can deny her talent or her beauty.

“Who is Jill Scott?”  I think we all know that now.  Singer, actor, mother.  There is know stopping this soulful diva.

Oprah for President!!  She is a self made Billionaire!!  What can you say negative about Oprah?  Well whatever it is, it doesn’t matter.  This woman has done amazing things for many people and children.  She has launched careers, giving selflessly, and educated the children of 3rd world countries.  She is and will always be my idol.

 

 

These are all very women.  I respect each for the work that they do.  They inspire me to be a better me.  And, these are all CurvieBirdies making our world a better place.
