Something to Chirp About: My Bridal Experience

For those that may not know, I will be getting married to a beautiful, sweet, and generous man next year.  So I went home (with Morgan) this Easter weekend to spend time with family and plan wedding stuff.  I met my wedding planner, picked my colors and theme, and found my wedding/reception venue.  Exciting stuff right?

I love watching "Say Yes to the Dress" to get ideas about wedding dresses that would look good for my body type.  It seems that plus size bridal is so much more expense and I just didn't think it would be a good shopping experience.  I was so wrong!  Myself, my mother, and my bridesmaids (all are a size 8 or below) get a great time.  I found some really beautiful dresses that compliments all my CurvieBirdie!

Now ya'll know I don't go out or take pictures without make-up, but I did this time.  I didn't want to risk getting make up the dresses, so I went bare-faced.  So don't judge me!!!  LoL!!

This was a great experience for this CurvieBirdie Bride!  My sales girl Ann at the Fox Vally store was super helpful and explained so much to me that I had not even thought of.  Hats off to her!!

Just so that ya'll know, I did not pick any of these dresses. but I did say Yes to the Dress for a beautiful designer gown (Thanks Mom!).  You must stay tuned to see "The Dress" !!!!

For those of you that are plus size, how was your bridal shopping experience?  Did you find a dress that you loved or did you just settle?
