We have made it to the end of another year CurvieBirdies!!!  I can’t believe 2012 will be over in less than 24 hrs.  I hope everyone has some great plans for tonight.  Whatever you do, please be safe!!!

A new year means new resolutions.  People make these resolutions, but how many people actually keep theirs?  I never made any because I don’t like to say that I am doing something, then don’t do it.  That is why I never go on diets. I don’t believe in them.  Diets don’t work, but lifestyle changes do.

So I will make a resolution this year to become a bit healthier than last year.  There, I said it!  So what about you CurvieBirdies?  Do you have any resolutions?  Have you been able to keep resolutions in the past?

Day after Christmas Sales!!!

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas yesterday.  This CurvieBirdie was super sick with the flu, so I stayed barricaded in my granny’s spare room most of the day.  I was not even allowed in the kitchen, and I eat my dinner by myself.  When I was finished, I got up and my spot was wiped down so everyone else could eat.  Brutal I know, but I didn’t want anyone else to get sick either.

Well after drugging myself all day, I am feeling better.  Now it’s time to do what curviebirdies do best . . . . . . .SHOP THE SALES!!!!!

These are my after Christmas sale picks!

Ya’ll know that “If it weren’t for Old Navy, I’d be naked!”  I already started my shopping online on Christmas.  There are some great deals in the Plus Sized line.  I got multiple tops and dresses for $10 and pants/jeans for $15.  So I suggest that ya’ll CurvieBirdies check it out too!!! Plus shipping is free for orders over $50!! 

S/N:  Don’t forget to check the maternity side because there are always deals.  I shop it, and get better sales sometimes!!!!

 

This is what I used everyday.  I try to buy enough at the semi annual sale to last for at 6 month til the next sale.  The sale includes many of the classic Bath and Body scents.  You can’t go wrong with $3 bath wash, lotions, and scents!!!!!  I will probably hit up a few of these stores!!  This is truly the one sale I wait for every 6 months!!!

 

And of course Target.  Since I don’t have any children, I never put up a Christmas tree, but I think I will start.  So I will be looking to buy a Christmas tree and ornaments tomorrow to get ready for next year!!!  The best time to buy this stuff is always the day after Christmas when its 50% off!!!

It’s Christmas Eve!!!!!

I cannot believe how fast this year has pasted us by.  Christmas is tomorrow, and I have been focusing on graduation and getting over this cold.  I have not finished my Christmas shopping yet.  I know; shame on me!!  Well the shopping jeannie has granted all last minute shoppers with some great deals!!!

Target is have a last minute sale with some great gifts at greater prices.  So I will seriously be all up in Target tomorrow!!!

Now Toys R Us will be open until 10pm tonight!!  I only have 1 baby to buy for, but she is my pooter.  So I guess I will be all up in Toys r Us tomorrow too!!!!

Well, I hope this helps ya’ll out if you still have some last minute shopping to do!!  Also, most grocery stores have a huge selection of giftcards if that will work out better for ya’ll!!

Something to Chirp About: I Graduated!!!

Hello Ladies and gents.  I spend much of my blog time telling you all about great events and fabulous finds.  Well today, I decided to focus on one CurvieBirdie in particular . . . . . . . ME!!!!!

Yesterday, I graduated from Keller School of Management with a Master’s degree in Public Administration.  I am so proud of this accomplishment that I had to share it with my Curvie family!

I has been a journey,  I started and stop.  But thank you Jesus, I decided to go back and finish!

Excuse the boob-age, but it was hot under that thing!!

Just Fab Fabulous Holiday Shoe Party

Hello CurvieBirdie!  Hope the week is going well for you all.  So Friday, I was invited out to a JustFab shoe party by Danielle the Style N Beauty Doctor.  This event was so fun.  We had food, drinks, and of course fabulous bloggers and SHOES!!!!!

The event was held at Freddy O’s Art Studio which has a custom making Tee Shirt shop.  This shop had tons of old album covers that I am so in love with.  So the décor was super dope!

So at the end of the party, JustFab awarded all the ladies there with a free pair of shoes (credit).  I went to their website, and I am having a hard time choosing which to purchase.  But, I will keep ya’ll posted!!!!

Motions Holiday Hair Party

Last weekend I was invited to a Holiday Hair Party hosted by Danielle, the Style and Beauty Doctor, and Lexi of Lexi with the Curls, and Motions hair products.

This is the first time that I have ever been to this boutique, but let me tell you honey!!  This shop has some of the hottest dresses, tops, pants, and accessories that I have seen in Atlanta.  I tells no lie!!!
